This work belongs to a group of five masses of which only the org part is extant. In contrast to the remaining works, however, three fugues of the present mass (Kyrie eleison, Cum Sancto Spiritu, and Osanna) also survive in the form of a short score comprising the chorus and continuo. The latter source was once owned by Joseph Haydn and is mentioned as no. 534 in his catalogue of artistic effects (“6. aus ſeinen Meſsen gezohene Fugen für die 4.
